We are glad you are interested in participating in a BRWC event!

Public Wildlife Releases

Public releases are very challenging to schedule more than 2 days in advance.  The best way to follow our upcoming releases is to follow us on Facebook (  Note, if  you do not have a Facebook account, you can still follow us on the Facebook link, though you won't be able to actively participate in the dialogue.  We will also try to send out emails regarding releases.  If you are not on our email distribution list, please sign up to receive this information.

Annual WildFest

Our first annual WildFest was held June 2, 2019 at the Clarke County Fairgrounds in Berryville, VA.  WildFest is a public, family-friendly event focused on providing information about wildlife and how the public can live in harmony with our wild neighbors.  WildFest will be a celebration of all things wild - from the work that BRWC does to other ways that the public can help wildlife and the environment. BRWC was joined by local organizations with environmental messages to come share their knowledge with the public. The afternoon will be packed with fun for the whole family with games and activities for all ages, food trucks, a raffle, face-painting, and appearances by BRWC's Wildlife Ambassadors!

Annual Gala

Every fall, BRWC holds a special event to bring supporters together to celebrate the end of a busy summer in a setting that highlights the wonders of our region.  On the evening of September 28, 2019, Beatrice and Adie von Gontard will host the Center's gala event at Oxbow Farm in Front Royal, VA.  The evening is sure to be a spectacular one!
